Overview

This is an immersive action-oriented module aimed at:

  1. Introducing the participants to the Design Thinking Methodology.
  2. Creating a Breakthrough Solution alongwith a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) creation for a ‘Live Challenge’

The client has to identify ‘Live’ Challenge(s) that need unconventional breakthroughs. The cohort should be a mix of Business Executives across hierarchies and functional roles and Techies to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.

Module Objectives

Participants of this module will experience the unique Design Thinking Methodology of Problem Solving on a live cjhallenge. They will develop the ability to:

  • Empathic Design
  • Develop a strong User-Centric approach to problem-solving
  • Develop a Multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving
  • Rekindle their own creative potential
  • Distinguish between Information & Insight
  • Use unique Observation Research Techniques
  • Use Ideation techniques
  • Create tight Design briefs
  • Visualize Process/Product/Service/Business Model Innovations
  • Understand and apply the Design Thinking Methodology in different situations
  • Understand the Lean Start-up Methodology
  • Minimum Viable Product (MVP) creation

Training Methodology
Intense conversations about the upcoming trends in the identified domains, field visits/ user interactions. Stimulating discussions and experience-sharing leading to peer-to-peer learning and co-creation of solutions. The theoretical constructs would be put forth with ‘Real-Life’ Case Studies. The module will run as a Five-day sprint where the participants will:

  1. Engage deeply with the user segments to understand and define problems accurately and identify gaps in the existing offering OR latent/unarticulated needs which have not been addressed, to work on.
  2. Brainstorm intensely to generate ideas for the above
  3. Create mockups and put them up for intense scrutiny among the cohort for refinement
  4. Iterate repeatedly to come up with breakthroughs

For five days on the trot, the participants will work in the second half of the day on the identified challenge.
