India’s premier regional channel ETV Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and the country’s most admired power solutions provider, Su-Kam Power Systems Limited hosted the Mega Auditions of its brand new talent hunt show, Sales ka Baazigar, powered by Dainik Jagran, at Hotel Dayal Paradise, Lucknow today.
The day saw the 27 city audition finalists, who very successfully crossed the Liberty On-Ground challenge, go through a basic aptitude written test, to enter the Mega Auditions stage today. The written test results shortlisted 15 best candidates, who then faced a Group Discussion round.
The Group Discussion between these finalists, was conducted by the famous mentor cum business and management evangelist, Professor Kaustubh Dhargalkar of Welingkar Institute, Mumbai. Basis this round, candidates were further shortlisted for the next face-to-face round with the jury.
This stage of Mega Auditions involve one on one interaction between the candidate and the jury, to judge very specifically their business, management, sales and geographical skills. The eminent panel of Jury included the superstar Ravi Kishan, winner of Masterchef season I, Pankaj Bhadouria, Professor Kaustubh Dhargalkar and Kunwer Sachdev, MD, Su-Kam Power Systems.
10 candidates were finally shortlisted from the Mega Auditions, who will now battle out in the Pre Grand Finale stage to prove their worth.
Lucknow, 07th May, 2013, will see these 10 finalists go through various training and grooming sessions, including :
– Hardcore sales and management training by Professor Kaustubh Dhargalkar, followed by management based interaction games and workshops
– Product training by Su-Kam, for the finalists to be prepared for the Pre Grand Finale stage
– Personality Grooming session by a stylist/expert, to be conducted by Liberty, the associate partner of the show.
Lucknow, 08th May, 2013, Pre-Grand Finale: will then witness the real on ground challenge for these 10 trained and groomed finalists, who will be sent to various markets in Uttar Pradesh : 18 locations in Lucknow and 12 locations in Kanpur.
This round will put the 10 finalists through an on-ground challenge of selling a newly launched product of Su-Kam, to their dealers and distributors individually. This activity will see the contestants in real time action in order to test their selling ability, creativity and convincing skills. The activity will be recorded and judged by the jury members.
Speaking on this occasion, the face of the show Ravi Kishan said, “An interesting concept like ETV Sales Ka Baazigar has reached to this level very successfully and today is taking a new turn to see a lot of battles and challenges ahead, which will finally unveil the most deserving salesmen in the country at the end of the show. Till now it has been very hectic to bring out the best talent from geographies and verticals, but know it is becoming more aggressive and challenging ahead and I am very excited to look at these young stars fighting it out for the winning title.”

Post these stages, the Grand Finale will see the contestants go through the final stage of interactions with the jury, in an evening full of performances and celebrations.
